Business

The Business Council is centered around companies and entrepreneurs operating in Poland advising them how to create and develop business. Consultancy offered by the Business Council is mainly focused on raising capital by businesses, making right investment decisions and shaping optimal capital structure. The Business Council also conducts business-related trainings, among others, covering such areas as negotiations, cultural differences, business etiquette, diplomatic protocol, public speaking, media relations, crisis management, investor relations and foreign investment. It also provides audits and certifies companies.

Finances

The Business Council conducts research involving processes of collection and flow of financial resources taking place in the economy as well as financial decisions made by companies. Studies in the area of public finances include redistribution of funds in the economy, impact of fiscal policy on the economic activity and management of the public debt. The Business Council also conducts research in the field of personal finance with the purpose of supporting household decisions on savings, wealth creation and management. It also educates about how to invest. Moreover, the Business Council carries out studies of the financial market.

Economy

The Business Council wishes to contribute to the economic development and growth of Poland. It works to improve skills and quality of managers and leaders in Poland and to enhance their professional qualifications. The Business Council also provides consultancy for companies and entrepreneurs in order to improve their functioning as well as looks for opportunities of public-private partnership (PPP) and of increasing investments in research and development area (R&D). All these activities are expected to result in faster development of entrepreneurship and innovation in Poland and to increase Polish competitiveness abroad. The Business Council is supervised by the Minister of Economy.

Law

The Business Council monitors the established regulations and legislative processes in Poland. The experts of the Business Council, some of who are entrepreneurs themselves, often encounter legal obstacles or ambiguous regulations differently interpreted by different administrative units. Thanks to their experience and knowledge, the Council of Experts identifies the problems arising from the legislation, suggests possible actions and proposes systemic solutions. The Business Council monitors Polish draft laws and the EU regulations in terms of their impact on the Polish economy. It is also involved in the process of lawmaking by sharing their opinions and issuing recommendations.
